If at the time of your screening, a biopsy is performed, your insurance benefits might change from routine screening to diagnostic procedure. Our office will obtain prior authorization or notification if required, either by sending a request to your primary care doctor depending on the insurance protocol. Please understand that payment for the procedure will be your responsibility if not covered by your insurance company.
